Quotes come fast and furious, from way back:
"A mighty pain to love it is,
And 'tis a pain that pain to miss;
But of all pains, the greatest pain
It is to love, but love in vain."
And from a little more recently:
"Nothing takes the taste out of peanut butter quite like unrequited love."
So often, explorations of this subject matter descend into deep, dark places of life-sucking misery - the lonesome protagonist can see no light beyond 'The One' and 'The One' becomes 'The Object', unreal and symbolic - a worshipped idol, a false idol.
And this is where the problem lies. Obsession, lust - I don't believe this is love. I believe that is ego.
To me, love is selfless - it gives without expectation, it is unconditional. If it is unrequited, it is still beautiful and should still be celebrated because the act of loving is one of the greatest things we can accomplish in the one life we're given - and can't that be enough?

So in answer to your question,neNna waala, I would say confess! True love never did do no harm...
But - as Anon once so famously said:
"You never lose by loving. You always lost by holding back."
Of course, that's just my two cents... Bloggers, what say you?
Think about it guyzz......
